Do You Want To Buy Anabolic Steroids!
Individuals really only have two choices if they want to buy anabolic steroids: a physician or the blackmarket. At one time it wasn’t that difficult to find a sympathetic doctor who would prescribe anabolic steroids to athletes. With the reclassification of steroids as controlled substances back in the early 1990’s, most doctors now avoid having anything to do with the prescribing of steroids – even for legitimate medical reasons. The penalties, including the loss of their practicing license, are just too severe. In response to this users have turned to the one industry that has always existed to supply people with illegal products – the blackmarket.
The majority of steroids available on the blackmarket originate in Mexico. They are first smuggled into the U.S. where they are distributed throughout the North American continent. Given its close proximity to Mexico, it’s not surprising that one of the major centers of this black market is California. From here the steroids are usually sent by mail or by courier to other U.S. states or Canada.
The problem with the existence of any black market, including one that offers individuals a means to buy anabolic steroids, is that invariably it becomes a nucleus around which criminal activities grow and prosper. After stricter laws regarding steroid use were passed in the early 1990’s, many small-time dealers got out of the market altogether. As black market prices increased because of reduced supply and higher risk, the profits to be made became attractive to dealers of other drugs, such as cocaine and heroin. The result was a marked change in the character of the black market, with violence becoming a key factor in maintaining control. Instead of going to some otherwise law-abiding citizen at the local gym, users had to start dealing direct with hardcore drug dealers.
Anabolic Steroid alternatives
It’s not surprising that once steroids became illegal, supplement manufacturers started marketing products advertised as “legal steroid replacers.” While some do hold promise as muscle builders, others are questionable in their effectiveness. Here is a brief description of the more common.
Creatine monohydrate - First out of the blocks was creatine monohydrate. This naturally occurring compound serves as a short-term energy source as it helps the body regenerate ATP (adenosine Triphosphate). Unlike many of the bodybuilding supplements currently available, creatine has some good research behind it. Most users gain 5 to 10 pounds of bodyweight in the first two weeks of creatine use. They also have more energy and strength.
Whey Protein – While not a true “steroid replacer” whey protein is nevertheless one of the most popular bodybuilding supplements and often the one bodybuilders turn to if they don’t want to buy anabolic steroids. Whey protein is one of the two primary constituents of milk protein, the other being casein. Whey holds a number of benefits over more traditional protein supplements such as milk and egg, and soy. For one thing it’s much easier to mix. Most protein supplements require the use of a blender, but whey can be mixed with a spoon. Also, whey doesn’t cause the gastrointestinal bloating that some users experience with milk and egg or soy. Finally whey is high in the amino acid glutamine – a proven muscle builder and immunity system booster.
Prohormones and related compounds – Prohormones can be considered the direct response to the reclassification of anabolic steroids as illegal substances. As the name implies pro hormones are compounds that are “pro” or “come before” hormones. This means that body uses them as building blocks for natural hormones, chiefly testosterone. The most popular prohormone in this category is androstenedion. Other groups of prohormones, called 19-nor compounds, are converted by the body to nandrolone, a powerful anabolic agent that makes up part of the very popular steroid nandrolone deconate (also known as decadurabolin). Besides taking compounds that convert to testosterone or nandrolone, bodybuilders also take compounds that increase the body’s natural production of testosterone. The most popular product in this category is tribulus terrestrus, a herb that causes the body to increase LH (leutinizing hormone) production. LH is released by the anterior pituitary and signals the testes to increase testosterone production.
Please reconsider
We hope you reconsider your decision to buy anabolic steroids. The safety and legal implications are just to severe. Instead check out the many legal steroid alternatives that are available. They’re safe, legal, and reasonably priced as compared to blackmarket steroids.
